‘Healing trauma is not about learning to navigate the world outside, its about learning to navigate the world within’

Trauma Therapy and Somatic Therapy in Squamish and Online Across British Columbia
You’ve Done the Work.
You’re Still Stuck.
You’ve likely done a lot of talk therapy already. You can name your patterns, you understand where they came from, but you still find yourself caught in the same loops: hypervigilance, anxiety, dissociation, people-pleasing, a fear of conflict or of being too much. Maybe you long for closeness and pull away from it in the same breath. Maybe you’re neurodivergent and have spent years being told you’re too sensitive, too intense, or too much, without anyone recognizing what your nervous system actually needed.
These patterns often trace back to complex, developmental, or relational trauma, experiences that may have happened years ago but still shape how you relate to yourself, others, and the world now. They’re not signs that something is wrong with you. They’re adaptive responses that developed when things once felt overwhelming, unsafe, or unsupported.
If insight alone hasn’t been enough to shift these patterns, it may be because the nervous system and the parts underneath were never actually addressed.
Hi, I’m Katharina Bleinis
I am a Pre-Licensed therapist with a Master of Counselling Psychology. I offer psychotherapy, counselling, trauma therapy, and somatic therapy in Squamish and online across British Columbia.
I support adults living with the impacts of complex and developmental trauma that continues to shape how one relates, feels, and see themselves. My approach draws on somatic therapy, parts work, and attachment-focused care to support both the mind, nervous system, and the integration of all our parts within our system.
Areas of focus:
- Complex and Relational Trauma
- Borderline Personality
- Hypervigilance and Anxiety
- Dissociative Identity & Dissociation
- People-pleasing and difficulty with boundaries
- Chronic shame & Self-Criticism
- Neurodivergent Experiences (ADHD & Autism)
